Change for Business Towards Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns (SCP) - Friends of SCP
Established in 2004 by the Decree of the Minister of the Environment and Forestry (MoEF) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN). Aims to promote, implement, develop and provide the Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (RECP) services in Indonesia.
PPBN provides various services related to RECP to companies in Indonesia.

Interested industries (Demo Units) should send an Expression of Interest (EoI) letter or fills out a questionnaire to express interest in joining a program or project. If needed, ICPC will send an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) to the company to ensure the security of confidential data.
ICPC will provide consulting services in the form of technical assistance related to RECP (Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production) practices and calculations that can be applied in related industries.
Field visit to the related industries’ site is carried out for primary data collection and analysis of initial RECP recommendations.
ICPC will conduct an assessment by analyzing baseline data related to electricity and water consumption as well as the amount of waste and GHG emissions to obtain potential savings from resource and financial aspects so that appropriate RECP recommendations will be obtained. The results of the analysis will be compiled in a report that will be given to the demo units.
Success stories of the RECP has been running since 2013 and has covered several industrial sectors, including: Textiles, Rice Mills, Tourism (Accommodation, Hotels, and Tourism Villages), as well as various industries in industrial estates in Indonesia.
